But, I do have to say that the cookies were damn delicious.

Last night was UFC 62 on pay-per-view. So some people came over and we watched it. I was pulling for Sobral. I dont know why. Just thought he had it for some reason, you know?
But the fucking Iceman came in and just annihilated him in 95 seconds. He was done. Over with. Swollen shut. Fucked up. A minute thirty five left in the first round.
Disappointed? Yes. Surprised? Not really. He’s the Iceman… you should have seen this shit. It was mean. Ruthless. Nasty stuff.
Anyone else see the fight? Anyone else hear about it? Anyone want me to send them the 95 seconds of pain? I recorded it.

I dont normally like “rap” music. Its just not my cup of tea usually. But every once in a while something comes along and its worth my time. Its more than just some guy rapping over some homo beat talking about having sex with bitches and riding “dirty” (with spinners of course). I find something that has substance. That is artistic.
Idlewild. The new Outkast album is very creative. Its “rap” unlike what you normally hear today mixed with 1930’s showgirl/gangster music… or something?

“Despite its title, this is not a soundtrack for the Idlewild movie–almost no songs appear in the film. Instead, the tunes seem inspired by Idlewild’s narrative themes. Outkast extends the eccentric streak that began on Stankonia and continued through The Love Below/Speakerboxxx. Fans of that last album may enjoy Idlewild’s continued eclecticism, especially from Andre 3000, who seems to be moving further away from “rap” every moment toward some bizarre love child of Prince and Melvin Van Peebles. A song like “Mighty O,” which actually features both Outkast members rhyming, is a refreshing throwback to the duo’s earlier days, but Idlewild is mostly divided between songs from Andre and Big Boi, with few points of intersection. By far the strangest Outkast album they’ve ever released–and this is saying a lot–Idlewild is a heady, dizzying trip. Scriggity. Yeah man. I was happy with episode 4. Really Happy. Im excited about doing this weeks show. We’ll start getting everything lined up and ready to go today, later in the evening probably. I’ve started to have a lot of fun with this.
Oh yeah. And the Best Damn Tech Show, Period. I have a feeling that their new episode is going to kick ass this week. Tomorrow they throw it out. Im on again this week. Good stuff. Check that shit out too.

This torrent includes two full Mitch Hedberg CD’s and some live stuff. Hedberg, so you know, makes me giggle until I cry.
Also, in case you were uninformed, Hedberg is dead. Which is very very sad.
In other news. We had some problems with this weeks episode of scriggity. Things outside of our control made it so we had to release it late. Shit happens. Oh well. Im sorry. Please love me anyway.
I do have to say that I had high expectations for this episode. I wanted to do a lot more with it. Again, things outside of our control… it just wasnt meant to happen I guess. But thats okay. I have lots of ideas and plans for future episodes. It can only get better…
In other news. I went to Daytona Beach this weekend. I got bit by a small crab on my right index finger. And so I punched the crab. The crab then told me that my mother smelled like corned beef hash. I said to the crab, “Bring it”. And he kicked sand into my eyes. So I did what any good beachgoer would do when being hassled by an unruly crab. I threw a piece of my sandwhich under his feet. The Sea Gulls rushed in within a matter of seconds. All that remained of the crab when those birds left the scene, was the pincher that brought his death.
Freaking camera meltdown has pushed episode 3 of scriggity back to Thursday night. Until then, crunk on.

Its about 5:00 in the morning. I’ve been taping for the new episode of scriggity all throughout the night. Drew and I came up with some pretty good ideas for this one.
I didnt do my day job today. Bummer, I know. Tomorrow Im back in the game full force though. And oddly enough, Im happy about that.
So anywho. Last weeks show, as far as Im concerned, was somewhat of a success. The messages that Ive been receiving from people have been really supportive and nice. Responding to everyone takes time though. I wish I could do it faster!
I made a pitcher of Green Tea today. It was pretty tasty.
House came on tonight. I DVRed it. Havent got around to watching it yet though. Its possibly the stupidest show on television right now. I mean, every episode is exactly the same. And the character development and the plots are just really weak and ridiculous. But I love House. I cant get enough of it. Hugh Laurie is my freakin idol.
Hmm. Other randomness? Its really cold in my house. I mean… really REALLY cold. I’ve got goosebumps. And sometimes my teeth chatter. Its Florida. Its not supposed to be this way.
I’ve been just dying for some Taco Bell lately. It seems so easy to go get some doesnt it? Ha. Thats what you think.
Yeah. So. Im spent.
But it feels good. I have faith that people may actually like this idea. Once we finally get it rolling.
Already we have had an amazing response. We have out a few little videos. An intro and some reminder pieces. Things like that. The feedback that we have recieved from just those few small clips alone has been far beyond what I expected.
A few people have already caught on. They have been sending us news. Leaving comments. Writing us songs even!
Im super excited to see where scriggity can go.
Im pumped about the first real episode hitting the interwebs tonight.
And Im just dying to read that first comment.
