Well. I took him up on his challenge. And he was right. I wasnt dissapointed.

Im glad I ran across him on the series of tubes we all play on.

I happened to come across The Fizz stuff through Mr. Safety.

Which brings me to my next point; We’re gonna be on TV tomorrow!

Honestly. Im pretty nervous. And excited. And scared. Its a wave of emotions really.

I cant watch it at my house. I have to go over to a family member’s house.

I cant wait. And then again… oh man… Im gonna be so giddy and freaked out.

Anywho. Christmas is coming up. I havent bought my boyfriend a present yet.

Im horrible at Christmas. If it were a video game I would lose.

One of these years I tell ya what… Im buying damn presents in July.

Well look at that. AOL revolutionizing the way we get our email. Amazingly enough, they have somehow made it so you can check your email from ANYWHERE. Oh yes people… ANYWHERE.

How do they do it? They never cease to amaze me. Its just like… they keep getting so far ahead of the pack. They bring new and exciting technology to the table. They offer such awesome products and services. And god, dont even get me started on how great their customer service is. Industry leaders in making people feel warm, fuzzy, and helped when they place a call.

Indeed. AOL. The face of all things beautiful and fantastical on the interwebs today.

(Confused? Yes of course you are. AOL is the cancer of our wonderful webs. There is no way I would seriously be talking about it so kindly. That above folks, thats what you call sarcasm. I hate AOL. And I think this advertisement is just sad. If you read that and say to yourself, “Wow. Anywhere?! Really?!” then well…. I dunno how else to say this… get the hell off my internet. Your kind dont belong here.)

So anywho. Its been a really really really long time since I made a post on this here blog. Lots of good things have happened to me.

As you know, that whole DirecTV thing. Which I cant even put into words how excited (and nervous) I am. I received the new camera… which will hopefully allow me to do a little more than what I could before.

The camera Ive been using since the birth of scriggity is a Sony Hi8. Its huge. Its crappy. Its certainly not cute or portable or efficient.

Im ever so thankful for the DirecTV guys. Wonderfulness abound.

I got a new job. Kind of. I work for the same company I just do funner shit and get paid more. Which is uh, awesome. I still do CAD here and there. But now I play with Photoshop and Dreamweaver all day while getting paid. Answer phones and fax things. Its easy stuff and I enjoy it. Transitioning from “Work whenever you want” to “45 hours a week” though, thats been kind of tough.

Well. I gotta get myself a cable to connect this snazzy new camera to my compy. Ill be back around here more often I think.

We are happy to announce the launch of a new site to support our show scriggity. It’s called scrigg.com

Some of you might be familiar with the popular site digg.com. It’s a way to submit news (official news such as technology info). We love that site. We wanted to make a site for all of your news though. So scrigg.com was born. We have nothing to do with digg, but love their work and respect their need for “official” and “mainstream” news.

I went to the local coffee place.

Drive thru coffee… nothing better.

I got a Large Turtle Freezer.

Yes. A Freezer. Not a frappuccino. Dont you DARE say frappuccino to these people… they simply WILL NOT let it slide.

Seriously. The first time I did it, I thought that the barista was just being a bitch… she stopped me mid-order.

Me: “Yeah, I want, like a um… yeah… a grande chocolate caramel frappacino with whipped…..”

Her: “No. No. Excuse me. Its a Freezer. We dont have frappuccino’s here. And its not a grande, its a medium.”

Me: *shocked and belittled* “………………. May I please have a medium freezer…. please?”

The next time I went, stupid me, I forgot the previous incident. I went about placing my order in the same Starbucks© fashion. This time I got a guy barista basically bitching me out. I mean, these people lay it on you. They stop you in the middle of whatever you are saying and correct you. And not in a nice way, in a completely rude way they do it. But it puts you in your place real quick… and your place, is evidently not a wannabe Starbucks©.

But I digress…. so I ordered my usual. Large Turtle FREEZER. With an extra shot of expresso. Whipped Cream. Chocolate and Caramel drizzled on top. It was long gone before we returned home. The coffee place is basically right down the road.

It was so delicious. And Im all “buzzed” now. That good coffee buzz. One of very few “buzzes” that are legal in the United States. Im freezing my ass off now though. They arent lying when they call the fucking things freezers.

I wanted to get a job at the coffee place.

Because I would learn how to make kick ass expresso.

And. I would totally be ganking their fucking coffee allllllll dayyyyy loooonnnngggg.

I decided against it though… because I dont want to be like the crazy person that you think is all coked up… but it turns out they just drink too much red bull.

Which reminds me… Adam Brody’s character “Jack” in the movie “Thank You For Smoking” is hilarious. The movie, overall, was pretty good. I wont say that it blew me away and took me to new film heights. But it was certainly worth the watch. The trailer is horrible. Makes the movie look boring and only partially funny, if that. But trust me. Its good.

Wordpress apparently has an issue with embedding things… ? Thats gay.

What’s up everyone? We’re back from DEMOfall in San Diego and exciting things are going on. Amanda Congdon (former host of Rocketboom and all around awesome person) visited us on her AmandaAcrossAmerica tour! We talked about scriggity, how we started it and why. It was an honor to hang out with Amanda, as we’re both big fans of her work.
